Local Transportation

Getting around Fort Collins

Conference guests have access to four modes of public transportation: MAX Transit Service (runs north and south), TRANSFORT Bus Services, Around the Horn (bus service that serves the campus area), and FLEX Regional Service. All services are connected by the City Government of Fort Collins. Additionally, all fixed-route buses have lifts or ramps, and are fully wheelchair accessible.

For MAX, TRANSFORT, and FLEX Bus Services, the fee for a single ride is $1.25 and a day pass is $3.00. Around the Horn is a campus shuttle service that is free for all passengers. 

Nearest TRANSFORT Bus Stop on campus: CSU Transit Center, which is connected to the Lory Student Center (lower level)

Nearest MAX stops on campus: University Station & Prospect Station

University Station is on campus and is a short walk to the Lory Student Center, Clark, and Computer Science Buildings.

 

Nearest FLEX Bus Stops on campus: University Station and Prospect Station

FLEX serves the following limited stops:

  • Fort Collins - Downtown Transit Center, CSU (University and Prospect Station), South Transit Center, and all additional MAX stops
  • Loveland - 8th Street
  • Longmont - Downtown Longmont and Village at the Peaks Mall
  • Boulder - Boulder Junction, Downtown Boulder, and the University of Colorado

Uber and Lyft

Uber and Lyft are easily accessible in the Fort Collins area
