Please join us—in person on online—for the International Writing Across the Curriculum Conference in August 2021 at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado. The conference, originally scheduled for June 2020, was postponed as a result of health concerns related to the COVID-19 pandemic. We now plan to hold it from August 4th through 7th, 2021. The WAC Summer Institute will precede the conference.
With the pandemic in mind, we are planning to offer two options for registration: face-to-face and virtual. For those of you who cannot attend face-to-face, we will offer a reduced registration fee.
We are currently awaiting a decision about whether Colorado State University will allow conferences to take place in summer 2021. If, as we expect, the university allows us to host the conference, we will move forward with it as planned, with options for face-to-face and virtual attendance. If the university decides not to allow conferences on campus this summer, we will move forward with a fully virtual conference in. We will also refund the difference in the registration fees to anyone who has registered for the in-person conference.
We appreciate your patience and support during this difficult time. We look forward to the opportunity to once again gather together as a community. In the meantime, we hope you are safe and well.
About the Conference Logo: The conference logo celebrates the long history of the conference, picking up on the logo developed for the 2006 conference held at Clemson University.
